Book excerpt: Designed to help sensitive souls intentionally align with the callings of their higher self, Soul Communication is a guide to becoming the creator of one’s unique path of abundance. Shaped by a story of the cyclic nature of death and rebirth through an astrological metaphor, the journey includes twelve powerful exercises of intentional soul work, used for transcending darkness to light and fear to love, in all areas of life. Western medicine call it ‘mental illness’. Shamanic traditions call it ‘spiritual emergence’. I call it ‘rebirth’. Rebirth does not have to be painful, but rather, enables you to release old patterns that no longer serve your highest good, so that you can receive the new. Rebirth does not have to create suffering, but rather, empowers you to heal and free yourself from limiting belief systems. Rebirth does not have to be resisted, but rather, awakens you to the beauty and liberation of limitless possibility. Rebirthing the soul is a natural process of evolution and is often mistaken as a problem, but Soul Communication transcends this stigma, reflecting the exact reason why humanity must surrender to rebirth. When you align with the language of your soul, you become the creator of your own life.

This book was released on with total page pages. Book excerpt: Australian poetry is popularly conceived as a tradition founded by the wry, secular and stoic strains of its late-nineteenth-century bush balladeers Adam Lindsay Gordon, Henry Lawson and ‘Banjo’ Paterson, consolidated into a land-based ‘vigour’ in publications such as the Bulletin. Yet this popular conception relies on not actually consulting the poetry itself, which for well over one hundred and fifty years has been cerebral, introspective, feminine and highly — even experimentally — religious. This book casts Australian poetry in a new light by showing how Australian Christian mystical poetics can be found in every era of Australian letters, how literary hostilities towards women poets, eroticism and contemplation served to stifle a critical appreciation of mystical poetics until recent decades, and how in the twentieth century one Australian Christian mystical poet began to influence another and share their appreciations of Dante, Donne, Traherne, Blake, Wordsworth, Brontë, Rossetti, Hopkins, Yeats, Eliot and Lowell.

Read and Download T. Adam Van Wart book Neither Nature nor Grace in PDF, EPub, Mobi, Kindle online. Free book TNeither Nature nor Grace. This book was released on 2020-10-21 with total page 321 pages. Book excerpt: Neither Nature nor Grace operates at the intersection of systematic and philosophical theology, exploring in particular how St. Thomas Aquinas variously uses the latter in service to the clarification and faithful advancement of the former. More specifically, Neither Nature nor Grace explores the overlooked logical difficulties that have followed the late modern debates in ecumenical Christian theology as to whether knowledge of God is available solely through God’s gracious self-revelation (e.g., Jesus Christ and Holy Scripture), or through revelation and the deliverances of natural reason. Van Wart takes the prominent French Dominican Reginald Garrigou-Lagrange as paradigmatic for the case that knowledge of God can be had by both revelation and natural reason. Representing the opposing position, that God can only be known through divine revelation, Van Wart highlights the work of influential Protestant theologian Karl Barth. By placing these two imposing 20th century theologians in conversation, and by providing a careful theo-philosophical analysis of the logical mechanics of each thinker’s respective arguments, Van Wart shows how both inadvertently overreach their self-professed epistemological bounds and just so run into significant problems maintaining the coherence of their relative theological positions. That is, against their expressed intentions to the contrary, both thinkers unwittingly evacuate the divine essence of the mystery Christian tradition has always previously claimed it to have, effectively reducing the being of God to mere creaturely being writ large. As a contrasting corrective to this problem, Van Wart proffers a constructive grammatical reading of Aquinas’s measured account of the crucial but often overlooked logical differences between what can be said of the divine, on the one hand, versus what can be known of God, on the other. While many recent works have attempted to solve the ongoing arguments which Garrigou-Lagrange and Barth epitomize regarding the epistemic use of God’s effects, Van Wart’s contribution constructively pushes the conversation to a different level in showing how Aquinas’s grammar of God provides a salutary means of dissolving and moving beyond these contentious debates altogether.

Book excerpt: This book describes a man's late life journey to Spiritual Awakeness and Unwavering Forgiveness. In fact, forgiveness changed the book's unfolding during the writing of it. The author began the book's writing with the desire to review a memory troubled life in a way that some degree of peace could be found within it. Forgiveness absolutely began to take over the book very early; forgiveness became the way of seeing the life rather than an end result. The author learned that forgiveness is not only cleansing and healing in retrospective, it completely changes the way we look at things. For the author, a lifetime previously perceived largely in ugliness was transformed into beauty. Prior unsavory scenes took their true places within auras of ignorance; eyes of forgiveness exposed ignorance as the true culprit in all unhappiness. Thus, things previously seen in contempt and blame became innocent of all charges. The author found total, Unwavering Forgiveness and Universal Love, gateways to God Consciousness.

Book excerpt: A new translation of the great classic--with wide-ranging, multi-traditional commentary that emphasizes its practical advice for living with integrity. “All there is is Krishna.” Upon hearing this famous and enigmatic line from the Gita’s seventh chapter when he was a boy, Ravi Ravindra embarked on a journey to understand its deep meaning. The search led him far beyond the tradition from which the text originally arose to an exploration of world mystical wisdom, including Zen, Christianity, Yoga, and particularly the teachings of J. Krishnamurti and G. I. Gurdjieff. Dr. Ravindra’s fresh prose translation with wide-ranging commentary, is the fruit of that lifelong process. It stands out from the many other versions with its assertion that the Bhagavad Gita is at heart a universal guide to navigating the battle of life required of each and every one of us. It is through that navigation, he shows, that we can discover and connect with the Krishna deep within ourselves: The Eternal Witness who is above the battle, and who is, ultimately and joyfully, all there is.

Book excerpt: What If There Is More to Life than What You're Living? You've felt it--the underlying anxiety that you're missing out on the good life. So you zone out, swipe up, slim down, work hard, and spin in circles trying to get it. Anjuli Paschall calls it carpe diem syndrome--the fear of not living life to the fullest. But the full life isn't found by chasing it. It's found by coming awake to it. As she puts it: "I want to be awake. I don't want to nervously navigate my life one to-do list, email, and espresso shot at a time. When my life comes to a slow halt, I want to know I savored the small moments and watched the sky change color. I want to know I didn't rush through life but received it. I want to know I came to peace with my weaknesses, loved people fearlessly, and walked with God faithfully. I hope I gave in to the audacious belief that I was loved and, miraculously, even liked." And now, Anjuli casts a compelling vision for you to live a soul-awake life too. The invitation might be as gentle as a song--or as abrupt as a rooster's crow--but God is always waking you up. You can have the life you really want, and you don't have to lose your soul trying to get it. Breathe in. Breathe out. Full life is right here.

Whether we are rich or poor we have seen some things that are great in life and we have also seen some things that are horrible in life. The experiences and challenges that we have personally overcome as individuals somehow shape us. The writer uses life experiences and poetry to illustrate the feeling of captured time. But time captured in memory gives us feelings, emotions that fill us with joy, anger, sorrow and sometimes bitterness. Mark T. Browning writes his version of captured time in the form of a nine chapter colloquy that travels over four decades of life with friends, family members, music, celebrity personalities, poetry, fashion and the moments that seem to make time stand still. You will enjoy the descriptions of life experiences of a young boy growing up in the Ft. Greene Projects located in Brooklyn, New York only to leave the projects to experience another side of life as a man. A life filled with experiences that lead to controversial statements ranging from, war, PTSD, racism, raising a family, drugs and gun policy.
