Ontario Provincial Police say one person is in custody following the death of a person in the town of Rockland Friday afternoon.
Police said residents can expect increased police presence in the Lalonde Street area while officers investigate the incident.
There were no further details on the case, but OPP said there is no threat to safety at this time.
The town of Rockland is about 40 km northeast of Ottawa.
Those with any information about the incident are asked to call OPP at 1-88-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
